I was initially nervous about the move, but quickly realized Wilmington was my home. I started in the real estate industry when I was 16 working as an assistant. I found a great family at Coldwell Banker and have since then worked in many different aspects of the company. I have been selling real estate since 2004 and love every day of it! To say that I find my job rewarding is an understatement. Helping people move in to their first home or watching families grow and homes expand is a feeling that I can’t quite explain but I am thrilled to be a part of it! In January of 2011, I was presented with the opportunity to take over my team. It was clear to me that it was God's plan for the next step in my life. I believe I have spent my past years in real estate to prepare me for this position and I am excited about what the future will bring. My team consists of Chris Royal, who devotes his time to listing properties. He researches numbers and comparables to get your home sold! Heather Smith, a buyer's agent who is passionate about helping families purchase their next home. My prior career consisted of 10+ years in the banking industry serving in commercial, mortgage, and management functions throughout eastern North Carolina. It was a strong desire to move back to Wilmington and reconnect with old friends and the university that led us back. Upon my return, I elected to utilize my prior work experience to aid me in a career in real estate. I grew up in Virginia Beach and came to Wilmington over 13 years ago. I had 10+ years experience in the customer service industry before entering the real estate market. Before joining Coldwell Banker Sea Coast 5 years ago, I worked closely with a developer acquiring land lots, project management and New Home Sales. Graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice/ Marketing from University of North Carolina Wilmington, I settled in the Wilmington area, enjoying the beach, surfing and boating. I am also involved in international real estate and currently working on a Costa Rica Land Development project.
I love working with buyers and sellers, explaining the process of purchasing a home, finding the property that best fits my clients, negotiating the lowest price and keeping constant communication with all parties involved to bring forth a smooth closing.
