    I have been a Wilmington resident since 1993. Originally I grew up on the New Jersey shore in a town much like Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach. I always had a love for real estate. School brought me down South in 1993. I attended UNCW and earned my degree in Biology and teaching credentials. I began teaching at Laney High School shortly after graduation. During that time, my wife and I began investing in real estate. As times changed, my focus drew me closer to a sales career. I have been with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty since 2001. Since then, I have been blessed to have my business grow each year. In 2003 I created my team to specialize and serve our clients to the best of our abilities. Each year we sell between 70 – 100 homes. We have passed the 750 mark for total home sales. I have a strong commitment to God, family and our clients. In our business we believe that the individual person always comes first. On my off hours, I spend my time with my family and friends. We enjoy surfing, going to the beach and camping. We are also becoming avid boaters.

    I have been proud to call Wilmington my home for the past 10 years.  I can’t think of anywhere else I would rather be.  Originally from Massachusetts, I moved to Wilmington during high school and quickly fell in love with area.  I began my journey in real estate at the age of 16 when I took a position as a realtor’s assistant and since then I have worked in every aspect of the business.  I have been selling real estate for 4 years now and can’t imagine my life any other way.  There is something about being a part of someone’s life and dreams of owning their home that is priceless to me.  I work as a buyer’s agent and find that position to be the most rewarding for me, I don’t consider myself to be a salesperson but someone to open doors, help you with the paperwork, and make the process as smooth and exciting as possible.  I have a strong faith in God and cherish the relationships in my life, I would rather make friends out of my clients than be in it for just another sale. 

     In 2008, The Alex Paen Team was recognized as a President’ Elite Team meaning that we finished in the top 21% of sales in the country.  I have gone through extensive training with a company called Star Power where I have focused on working with buyers.  Knowing how precious time can be, I would never want to waste yours and I feel that my additional education has helped me to get right down to business.  In addition to Star Power, I am considered an ACE, having completed advanced education through Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty.

    Proud to call myself a Wilmington Native, I love the area and have lots of family both here and in western PA. I attained my Associates Degree in Business Mgmt from Miller-Motte Business College in Wilmington.  During college, I spent a year working as accountant's assistant in a local real estate attorney's office where I gained a broad background view into real estate. Since then I have become a Mom, stayed home to raise my son for a few years and now am excited to be actively working in the real estate world.  I have been made to feel very welcome here at Coldwell Banker Seacoast Realty and as a part of this team.

    Hello!  Thank you for reading the profile section of our website.  As you can see, we have an incredible team available to help you in all of your Real Estate needs. Knowing what a huge and life changing process real estate buying and selling can be, it's important that you find the right agent. In searching for yours, here are few things to help you get to know me better.

     Originally from beautiful (and cold!) Burlington Vermont , I am an avid snowboarder, Patriots and Red Sox fan, and know what it means to love your hometown and community.  I visit Vermont often, but am proud to have lived in Wilmington (where it's warm!) for several years with my Australian Sheppard, Maya. 

     My professional experience includes 8 years in the newspaper industry, specializing in advertising and marketing. As a Digital Sales Manager, I have honed my marketing skills to stay on top of all advertising avenues in the digital world.  I am eager to bring my marketing skills to the real estate world and give each of my clients the attention they deserve. I know how to market and sell homes.

     My friends, coworkers, and clients know that I bring a level of energy and dedication to every task that is unmatched. I can't wait to prove that to you as well.

    Greetings!  Thank you for taking the time to learn about our exceptional team of agents here on the Alex Paen Team at Coldwell Banker Seacoast.  Buying a home can be an exciting, yet overwhelming process, but rest assured, I’m here to help.

     

    Originally from the Washington DC suburbs of Maryland, I moved to Wilmington 12 years ago to attend UNCW where I earned my degrees in Geology and Marine Science.  While in graduate school, I spent several months traveling the world’s oceans working aboard various university research vessels, working on my best Jacques Cousteau impression.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time on the beach, SCUBA diving, golfing, and spending time with my dog Champ.

     

    For the past several years, I have been employed with a local land development firm, getting a “behind the scenes” view of the development industry and gaining valuable experience working closely with some of the brightest engineers, planners, environmental scientist, and land surveyors.  This has given me extensive knowledge of neighborhoods and local areas. My past experience has given me the skills to make the transition into real estate sales an easy one. I am grateful to be a part of such an exceptional team of agents at Coldwell Banker Seacoast.   As a buyer’s agent, you can rest assured that I work solely for you, representing your best interest and avoiding conflicts of interest that are inherent in traditional real estate transactions.
