Get Ready, Get Set... PLANT!

Potted plants are one of the best ways to add instant curb appeal, celebrate Summer months and create a little more charm in your outdoor living areas! From simple plastic pots to dramatic ceramic containers, there are endless options when it comes to dressing up your space with potted plants!

You'd be amazed at the simple difference that even a basic fern can add to your porch, but when you see the photo-journal of potted beauties we've put together for your viewing pleasure today, you'll be dreaming of so much more!

As always, when it comes to landscaping of any sort, you'll want to do some research on which plants flourish in your local climates and soil conditions, but despite the variables, there are an abundance of plants that will thrive in any climate. If you're willing to bring in potted plants for the winter months (we know this means having more storage space) you can sometimes keep your potted plants in perfect condition for more than just one Summer, which will allow you to get the most out of your investment!

Can you tell that plants get us excited? We hope you'll find some inspiration throughout this blog to get you started on your floral creations!

More long term potted options often include citrus and fruit trees for Southern areas like our own, where the temperatures remain warmer year round! These may need to be brought in during winter months, if you're expecting them to bear fruit each Summer! Some of our favorite citrus trees that do well in planters are Lime, Lemon, Clementine and Pomegranate! Since potted fruit trees can be more of a long term investment, you may want to pick out your best ceramic pots for these since they will be around for more than just one season!

Whether it's a single planter that you fill with multicolored plants or multiple pots with one common color scheme, anything you add to your porch in the form of a potted plant will instantly welcome your guests, bring a smile to your face and show that you're committed to your home's outdoor appearance!

Go ahead and talk to your local plant shops, purchase some pots you like and creatively add some charm to your outdoor living areas while simultaneously boosting your curb appeal! With just a few potted plants you can grab the attention of those who drive through the neighborhood and have your neighbors talking about how great your pots look at the next block party!
