<p><font face="Comic Sans MS" size="3">There has been a lot of discussion between County Commissioners that would bring a new plant to the area.&nbsp; This new sewage plant would most likely be located off Highway 421 North in Pender County. </font></p>
<p><font face="Comic Sans MS" size="3">Both counties are working togheter for this plant to be built.&nbsp; These plans for a new plant are still in the planning stages.&nbsp; There is no completion date thus far. </font></p>

Chief district court judge John Carroll spoke to us about his service in Iraq. Not only is he a judge, he is a reservist. He was involved with establishing democracy in Iraq. They lived in what they called the green zone (protected by our troops), but the courts were in the red zone. This involved suiting up in full gear to go to work. They would work Sunday through&nbsp;Thursday and be off Saturday and Monday. Their work day started at 7:30 and ended at 11 in the evening. While he was there, he was involved with putting away 8 very crucial people and the creation of a program to keep juveniles off the streets. For this he received the bronze star.</p>
